A. Every manufactured fenestration product and exterior door shall have attached to it a clearly visible temporary label that lists the U-factor, the solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) and Visible Transmittance (VT) and that certifies compliance with the air leakage requirements of Section
110.6(a). Temporary labels for manufactured fenestration products and exterior doors are to incorporate the values determined by Section
10-111(a)1B and shall comply with the labeling requirements of NFRC 700. No other values for
U-factor, SHGC, VT and Air Leakage are allowed on the temporary label attached to the manufactured
fenestration product or exterior
door. Component Modeling Approach (CMA) and site-built fenestration products shall have an NFRC label certificate that lists the
U-factor, the Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC), and the Visible Transmittance (VT) and shall comply with the labeling requirements of NFRC 705 for the Computer Modeling Approach or NFRC 700 for
site-built fenestration products.
EXCEPTION to Section 10-111(a): Field-fabricated fenestration products.
